Executive Coaching – Shayna offers a flexible and responsive blend of coaching, expert consultation, and thought partnership for Executive Directors and other senior leaders such as Vice Presidents, Chief Operating Officers, Chiefs of Staff, Chief Strategy Officers, Chief Program Officers, and Program Directors.
In coaching sessions, we discuss whatever is on your mind. Shayna helps you solve problems, work through management and personnel issues, collaborate with your Board, establish or improve supervision systems, strategize about team dynamics, plan meetings, and all manner of other leadership and organizational endeavors.
As your coach, advisor, consultant, cheerleader, and helper, Shayna accompanies clients day-by-day through the challenges of their demanding job, always just a text or email away.

Enhanced Executive Support - In addition to coaching sessions, Shayna offers direct project support to Executives on a range of tasks where she has experience and expertise, including things like writing memorandum and other internal communications, preparing slide decks, updating job descriptions, restructuring programs, editing performance evaluations, and working with your team to address management and organizational challenges.
Leadership Coaching - Similar to Executive Coaching, Leadership Coaching meets each client wherever they are to support their individual growth and skill-building. For newer supervisors, mid-level managers, or leaders in any capacity, sessions focus on whatever organizational issues are arising, such as managing staff, giving effective feedback, managing up, and influencing peers across the organization to move work forward.
Board Development– Boards of Directors play an essential role in an organizational ecosystem. Investing in Board development can support boards to be more effective in many ways, including planning; budgeting; partnering with staff; conducting productive meetings; recruiting and onboarding new members; and evaluating successes and challenges. Shayna offers three primary services for Boards and Board leaders:
Board Transformation – Shayna guides Boards through an intentional, values-aligned, replicable process of Board expansion and diversification by establishing and implementing a system of identifying needs, recruiting, vetting, selecting, and onboarding directors. We focus on the mix of skills, identities and lived experiences that are crucial for the Board at this time.
Board Coaching and Advising - Shayna meets with Board Chairs and Committee leaders, individually or in groups, to answer questions and further develop practical governance skills.
Board Retreat Planning and Facilitation - Shayna works collaboratively with Board members and staff to establish clear goals, plan an engaging agenda, and facilitate a productive Board Retreat.
Management Consulting - As part of an Enhanced Executive Coaching and Support package or on its own, Shayna is available to work with organizations to improve management systems and practices, restructure jobs and programs, and address performance problems.
Meeting Planning and Facilitation - In addition to Board Retreats, Shayna offers deep experience in planning and facilitating team meetings for staff, especially involving having difficult conversations and making important decisions.
