Shayna is a coach, advisor, and board development expert.

She was born, raised, and currently lives with her partner in the San Francisco Bay Area, on the ancestral and unceded land of the Ohlone people.

Shayna works for the ACLU Foundation of Northern California as the Senior Advisor for Organizational Development. She has held leadership positions at ACLU NorCal since 2014.

Her current role includes serving as the liaison to the Boards of Directors where she manages Board recruitment, onboarding, meeting planning, practices, and communications. She is a member of the Executive Management Team, facilitating decision-making and internal communications across the organization.

In addition to her work at ACLU NorCal, Shayna provides coaching and consulting services for non-profit organizations and individuals.

She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy from Mills College.

Shayna holds a Certificate of Nonprofit Board Education from BoardSource and is a Certified Professional Coach with the Fowler International Academy of Professional Coaching.

In addition to her work, Shayna enjoys reading, walking around her neighborhood, and sharing meals with family and friends.
